GeorgiaCares
GeorgiaCares helps people on Medicare by providing information about health insurance (especially Medicare and Medicaid savings programs), managed care, long-term care insurance, prescription drug coverage and other related areas.

Volunteers are need for the following positions:

Atlanta Senior Medicare Patrol Project
The Atlanta Senior Medicare Patrol Project educates senior adults, family members, caregivers and others about identifying and reporting Medicare and Medicaid errors, identify theft, and fraud.

• Consumer Fraud Advocate (PDF)

AgeWise Connection
AgeWise Connection is an Information and Referral Service provided to older adults, as well as persons with disabilities.  Our Counselors are certified and can provide information about a variety of community resources, programs and services such as housing options, in-home services, leisure and recreation activities, home repairs, Medicaid programs and much more.

Volunteers are needed for the following positions:

OASIS Connections Computer Classes
OASIS Connections Computer Classes are a partnership between the OASIS Institute, a national nonprofit educational organization designed to enhance the quality of life for mature adults, and the Atlanta Regional Commission.   A variety of OASIS Connections classes, such as Intro to Computers, Intro to the Internet, etc. are offered at local community outreach sites in Fulton, Dekalb, and Fayette Counties.
